ROH REWIND: Scramble Cage Mellee 2004
Homicide defeated Samoa Joe and CM Punk (nontitle three way)
View All ScreencapturesOn August 28, 2004, Homicide competed in a three way nontitle match against a then Ring of Honor champion Samoa Joe and CM Punk. This match was noted to be the biggest three way match in 2004 Ring of Honor history. Since the, I guess you can say... "star power" that these three competitors had in Ring of Honor. Getting into the match, CM Punk and Samoa Joe looked like they were going gang up on Homicide, but with Punk and Joe's heated history, it was not long before Punk and Joe were hitting each other. Meanwhile, Julius Smokes handed the infamous fork to Homicide. CM Punk and Homicide wrestled each other to the mat to get the fork. Samoa Joe stomped on their hands and grabbed the fork for himself. The match was tooken to the outside, Samoa Joe unleashed the fork into Homicide's skull, who was evenutally busted open by the Joe's Olé kicks. CM Punk was resting on the outside, and took advange of Samoa Joe's handy work with the bloody Homicide. Few pinfalls but only two each time. CM Punk then went to the top rope and hit the Pespi Pludge on Samoa Joe. Homicide then snuck in and hit Punk with a huge Lariat. Homicide then crawled over Punk to Joe and pinned the champion.
